Celebrity Botanical Garden

was born on the occasion of the opening of the '99 Kunming World Expo on May 1, 1999. So far, party and state leaders such as Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Hu Jintao, Li Lanqing, Wei Jianxing, and 12 foreign heads of state have planted trees here. The tree species adopts the famous Chinese flower-osmanthus. Osmanthus fragrans, tree-shaped beautiful, luxuriant, vibrant, fragrant flowers overflowing, millennium not ancient. It symbolizes the theme of man and nature in the Expo Park and the enthusiasm of welcoming Jia Binde, the friendship of the people of Yunnan and the hospitality of the Chinese people; it also symbolizes the prosperity of the cause of world peace and development, and the everlasting friendship between the Chinese people and the people of the world; it shows China's growing national strength, friendly and peaceful diplomacy, fair handling of international affairs, and the spirit of promoting world peace and development.
