Expo site provide an ideal habitat for koi. Koi is a kind of high-end ornamental fish that has swept the world. It has the laudatory name of "living gem in water" and "art that can swim. Because it is more miscellaneous food, easy to breed and raise, usually the general breeding of water quality requirements are not high, it is welcomed by people. The so-called koi is a carp with color, stripes, for people to watch. Jinli originated in Persia, through China, Korea into Japan, was improved for ornamental koi. Fish admirers often celebrate the beauty of koi carp with words such as live "gems" or "national fish. At present, the bonsai garden is the earliest and largest koi ornamental garden in Yunnan. There are more than 100 koi carp in the koi pond, including the well-known Dazheng tricolor, Showa tricolor, red and white, Danding, platinum, golden carp and other varieties. The koi in the park are all imported from Japan. They are healthy, colorful, with changeable patterns and swimming styles. In Japan, soft water is used to cultivate koi carp, but when it is introduced to China, hard water is needed to cultivate koi carp.
